Week 8 - Searching the web

These are very interesting search engines. I had never used bananaslug and wink before and they are both very unique.

This was a great program and I enjoyed learning about all the different applications for web 2.0.

Week 7 - LibraryThing and Doppelme

This is great. I can see we people would use it. I would like to spend some more time on the site.

It is great fun creating avatar's. There are some really cool ones around.

Week 6: RSS Feeds and Rollyo

RSS Feeds
Great I love RSS feeds and regularly use them. Bloglines is a great way to view all your info at once without having to access seperate web pages. I have 30 feeds in my account.

Rollyo
Like Mr Jones I don't see the purpose of Rollyo. There are more effective ways of searching the Internet. This is really restrictive.

Week 5 - Wiki's and Widgets

Well today we learnt about Wiki's and Widget's. Wiki's are very useful and have many applications. It amazes me how many times I use wikipedia for all sorts of information.

Widget's are more fun. See the widget I have selected. My widget is rather cute.
